Blaq for BlackBerry PlayBook 1.8 now available!

**UPDATE** Version 1.8.1 was released, fixing the removal of ‘Maximize Web View’, as well as issues with launching the application.
We’re happy to announce Blaq for BlackBerry® PlayBook™ 1.8. This is going to be a good one. Hope you guys enjoy it!
What’s new?
- Threaded direct messages – See messages in the convo format you’re used to
- Muting - Mute users, clients (e.g. GetGlue, twitterfeed) and hashtags
- Tweet from multiple accounts at once – tap the avatar next to the compose area to select accounts to tweet from
- Go to user (Swipe down, blue dude)
- Adjustable font size for tweet compose
- Portrait list view
- Portrait search view
- Shows if user is following current user on the tweet card
- Hashtags are automatically appended to replies
- Tweet card hides compose after tweet is sent
- “Tweet from @user” when copying tweet
- Change the location of trending topics
Bug Fixes
- Unwanted retweets show for users which this is disabled for
- Tweets on tweet card show for retweeter and not original tweeter
- Can’t click on links in lists
- Links, hashtags and user mentions are not clickable in tweet on top of the tweet card
- DM icon shows as new when new DM is sent
- Twitter photos streaming in do not open in-line
- When in search mode, top compose bar doesn’t collapse when tweet card is thrown away
- Placeholder avatar loads when avatar cannot load
- Search list overlaps options menu
- Search results always show “Moments ago” instead of true time
- Profile doesn’t show when there is no convo or link
- Tweet card issues

Blaq for BlackBerry PlayBook 1.7.2 is now available

Blaq for BlackBerry® PlayBook™ 1.7.2 is now available for download.
Here’s what’s new:
- Clicking on a tweet in a conversation or tweets list for users opens the tweet in the tweet card
- Clicking on a user in followers or following opens the user’s profile
And here are some bug fixes:
- Retweet failures
- Search results are sometimes not tappable
- Search view not rendered properly switching from portrait to landscape
- Avatars in swipe-down menu are larger than intended
- Links within DMs are no longer clickable
- Tweet card showing under search list
- Mini-browser appears above options
- T.co links in search
- Tweet card options menu shows behind tweet card in search
- Minor bug fixes

Blaq for BlackBerry® PlayBook™ 1.7.1 is now available for download. This is mainly a maintenance release.
Here’s what’s new:
- Timeline position is held if new tweets are loaded while scrolled (instead of jumping to top)
- Reduced application size
- Reduced memory footprint
- Big performance improvements
- Improved scrolling
- New splash screen
- E-mail Tweet
- Font appearance preview
And here are some significant bug fixes:
- Real-time streaming fixes (caused by server changes to Twitter’s streaming on Monday)
- Long urls in tweets sometimes overflow into the tweet below them
- Mini browser does not rotate when moving from portrait to landscape and vice versa
- Tweets over 140 characters are still sendable if the virtual keyboard’s return key is used
- When tweeting a photo, a lack of space between the link and surrounding text make it unclickable
- When replying to a retweet, replies should be directed to original tweeter
- Duplicate tweets

Cloudee for BlackBerry PlayBook Now Available
We’re happy to announce Cloudee for BlackBerry® PlayBook™!
Cloudee is a CloudApp client for the BlackBerry PlayBook. CloudApp is a popular cloud service (with companion Mac application) where you can easily share screenshots, bookmarks, photos and more. We’re bringing this same functionality to the PlayBook. You DON’T need a Mac to use this app or the CloudApp service. There is an application available for Windows, as well.
Features:
- View files from your CloudApp account
- Download files to your PlayBook from CloudApp
- Upload new files from your PlayBook to CloudApp
– View bookmarks right within the app
- Send files to trash
- Stream audio right within the app
- Filter content by item type (swipe to right, as seen above)

Introducing Cloudee
Recently, I just started using a Mac and it was recommended that I use CloudApp. It’s a great application that allows you share screenshots, bookmarks and more, quickly and efficiently. Show Me the Images, the application that lets you view your email with no compromise, has been updated.
Changes include:
- Better BlackBerry OS 7.1 support – safelist bar and minor fixes
- Updated safelist bar
- Backup and restore fixed (requires SD card)

Blaq for BlackBerry PlayBook 1.6

We’re back with an update to Blaq that brings mainly bug fixes and some noteworthy additions. This update should now be available in BlackBerry App World. If you don’t see it, don’t fret. It’ll be available within the next 24 hours. The biggest bug fix is to the stability of real-time streaming. You should notice that it now works more reliably. Let us know if you have any trouble at all.
